As it’s my first post, I feel it is a good idea to give a brief rundown of who I am, what I do, and why I’m doing it.
My name is Elise (although most people call me El). I am 24 years old and live in the UK. I work as a Freelance Copywriter. This is me:
My fitness journey started around three years ago. I had become overweight, mainly due to binging on numerous Domino’s pizzas each week and never ever putting a pair of trainers on.
I was never huge, but I was out of shape, and I felt a difference within myself mainly. That was me:
I woke up one day and decided enough was enough. I was ill, my joints were hurting, I got out of breath walking for five minutes and I had lost all confidence in myself. I felt so unhappy. I decided to start eating properly and exercising regularly.
I have now lost a total of five stone, and feel so much better for it. I am all about losing weight slowly, eating well and getting more active. I do not believe in crash diets.
There is still a lot I want to achieve. I am now focusing on building muscle, improving my cardio endurance and growing that booty! This is me now:
So, I have started this blog to document my journey. Expect progress pics, recipe ideas, workout tips and fitness motivation. Oh, and some cheat-day eats thrown in as well (because we all need a treat now and again!)
